Travels
So,
why are we going to Europe for six months? The short answer
is: Because we can.
I’ve actually been talking about doing this for 4 or
5 years now. So much so that one friend even said, “Oh,
you’ve been talking about that for years”. Well,
all of the stars have lined up.... work, school, Julia and
Sam’s ages (10 and 12) and the selling of our home in
Asheville .... and made this our big fat chance. While we are
gone, we will be closing on a small home in our old neighborhood
and doing a bit of remodeling on it. So, since we are “Homeless”,
I thought we may as well be homeless in Europe, instead of
Asheville. In fact, for two months before our trip started,
we rented a small apartment in Downtown Asheville that turned
out to be more expensive than any of the apartments we will
be staying in Europe.
